On the list of stuff I wanted to prepare for blog was also “coffee beverage”. And finally I made a delicious base to which you can later add extras that you like. Delish! On the photos you can see the prettiest cup made by my cousin Anja .

For 2 people; Very simple; 5 min


2 dl coffee
25 g oats
3 dates
1,5 dl water

EXTRAS: Vanila extract, rum, cocoa, maple syrup, cinnamon, …


  1. Make coffee.
  2. While it’s resting blend oats, dates and water. Strain it.*
  3. On this point you can make a decision. Or you will mix coffee and oats milk right away and heat it up a bit. Or maybe you will mix it together and add few ice cubes. Maybe you will play with pouring oats milk into coffee as I did.
  4. When you make a decision add one or more of suggested extras and enjoy …

Wise-ass corner

  • Don’t throw the pulp away – use it either in porridge either in energy balls. 

I listen only few options for extras but you can use anything that you want. This creamy coffee is very compatible I’d say.
