Citrus kombucha cocktail (virgin version, but sure, put some booze in it if you want to!) was my go-to welcome drink for many dinners.

First of all if you make your own kombucha (YOU DON’T??? Check out here how easy it is.) this is so simple to make it is crazy. And second of all it is so tasty and healthy.

Kombucha combined with citruses + a bit of orange blossom water + a bit of aronia for colour is a dream!

Sometimes I used sour-cherry homemade syrup for sweetener, sometimes no sweetener at all. It really depends on kombucha you use and the taste you want to achieve.

Cheers and let the warm days begin!

ingredients

4 cups 1 l
kombucha
Juice of 1 orange
1
lemon
1
orange
1/2
grapefruit
1/3 cup 60 ml
aronia juice
1/4 tsp
orange blossom water (optional)
Sweetener of your choice if you want to (I didn’t use any and it was delicious)
Ice ice baby

instructions

  • 1.

Basically all you need to do

Pour kombucha in a big jar and add juice of one orange. Cut off the skin from the lemon, orange and grapefruit and slice them. Add slices to the jar and the rest of the ingredients too. Don’t forget plenty of ice! Serve right away.

wise-ass corner

I used quite sour kombucha without any taste added.

This can serve you as a base for alcoholic cocktail. If you will add alcohol (rum, gin, vodka) add some sweetener too!
