I’m sitting on the top of the rocks next to the sea, where we have just meditated. We came to them by a tiny boat that our sailing boat was dragging behind all of our trip. The sailing boat has a very convenient name according to the needs of the crew though – la passion du vin. But we weren’t passionate only about wine but about other drinks too… So if I go back to the rocks. These rocks are in an uvala Zaraće on the island Hvar where we used to spend our family vacations at. I think we’ve been there about six times. It’s a small uvala with two restaurants and 5 houses. It’s so far off that we had to bring our luggage to the apartment with a wheelbarrow. But those vacations were the best! One suitcase was always full of books. The beach was 20 meters from the apartment. You could swim all day or read Harry Potter, as you wished. One time I had a fight with my mum, because I didn’t go to the beach or took a shower for three days (Goblet of fire is to blame). The most important thing was just to eat well. Which was mostly taken care of by my dad that wad preparing us all kinds of specialities. We always came with some extra kilos home after those vacations.

This has been a long time ago and in this year we came to this uvala for one night with different crew and munition. With a sailing boat and lots of beer. Well, the amount of books was quite similar as before. We did have two new passengers with us – one is close to my heart and one to my brother’s. And on this trip I became the chef and prepared all kinds of good stuff with and for my crew.

But the sailing boat didn’t take us just to Zaraće but also to Vis, Hvar, Brač and Šolta to Šibenik. We were stopping in small uvalas, eating watermelon while dipping the legs in the sea and watching jumping tunas (there was suppose to be one dolphin also but I know nothing about it since I was sleeping). We had great luck with the winds so our sails were out a lot and we managed to lean a lot! I tried to catch the feeling in the photo but no photo captures the moment when horizontal becomes vertical.

I put the technology aside as much as possible but took some photos anyway. For a souvenir, so I can watch them in December and crave to go back.
